As one of China’s major food crops of maize, plays an important role in thedevelopment of the national economy and ensuring food security. With the continuousimprovement of people’s living standards and changing dietary patterns, the maizewill be a period of the next fastest-growing consumer demand, the maximum yieldpotential of grain and forage crops. Although in recent years, there is news of China’smaize output frequency, but the entire maize supply, there are still large gaps, largelythrown in pressure equilibrium, need to rely on imports to meet national needs.Coupled with the growing population, the impact of human activities on the nationaland global environment continues to deepen, global warming and extreme weatheroccurring more and more frequently. The soil is already scarce amount of potassiumas soil erosion, it becomes all the more worse. In recent years, with the rapiddevelopment of transgenic corn technology to solve this problem provides an effectiveway.In this study, three plant expression vectors were constructed based onpCAMBIA3300vector, with three genes AtCBL9, AtAKT1and AlHAK1, which wererelated to utilization efficiency of potassium.by pollen tube pathway, the three geneswere transferred into KW8381、PH6WC、PH4CV.After PCR detection, T4transgenic maize were obtained, including17plantswith AtCBL9,23with AlHAK1and3with AtAKT1. We detected AlHAK1and AtAKT1in the transgenic maizes, and the detection rates were38.14%and37.53%. This issignificantly higher than the previous generation detection rate.We analyzed transgenic plants with AlHAK1by southern blot, and the resultindicated that the foreign gene had been integrated into the maize genome. FurtherRT-PCR and qRT-PCR validation showed that exogenous genes at the transcriptionallevel maize genome has different levels of expression.By way of hydroponics and indoor cultivation sand culture of eight elite maizeinbred lines were screened and, ultimately, material suitable for screening corn recipes and nutrition screening concentration of potassium ions stress two significantdifferences in responses of0.25mmol/L and3.25mmol/L.The experiments of sandculture through the establishment of a sound system illustrated that the transformationof AlHAK1and AtAKT1,indicating that exogenous gene into a certain extent, improvethe corn material for low potassium stress tolerance.
