Tulip is one of the famous bulb flowers in the world which has very high value in horticulture. In recent years, tulip cultivation have been widely large-scale applied in China, especially in the spring flower show. Because of the bulb degradation in domestic, the cost is very high wich to import the bulbs every year. So, it is the urgent affairs to achieve the tulip bulb reutilization. The cultivation technologies were carried out on tulip cultivars imported from Dutch at Beijing International Flower Port in order to achieve the reutilization of tulip bulbs for landscape application. A comprehensive evaluation for imported cultivars in Beijing aiming at the bulb reutilization and ornamental value by AHP and gray correlation methods was established; the suitable substrate, fertilization and the treatment of Salicylic Acid for tulip bulb reutilization was selected; the feasibility of bulb rejuvenation in the Beijing offsite cultivation and the nutrient metabolism in the period of duration was explored. The detailed results are as follows.Among58tulip cultivars,17cultivars performed better on the bulb reutilization and ornamental value in evaluation tests. The regenerated daughter bulb with longer than10cm of diameter can berecycle implemented directly and growwell in the next year.The result of the study on tulip bulbs reutilization for flower show is that:majority varieties grew well on the substrate with peat and sand (3:1) which improving the quality of growth, flowering, bulb reutilization, and increasing the bulb reutilization level. The fertilizing method test show that F3(budding period with topdressing nitrogen and flowers later with topdressing nitrogen under phosphorus) is an optimum fertilization scheme for ball reutilization tulip in garden cultivation. The salicylic acid study on tulip bulbs reutilization show that the0.1g/L of salicylic acid treatment blade in the period of flowers later can significantly increase the diameter, elevate the fresh weight of the regenerated daughter bulb, improve the quality of daughter bulb, and significantly decrease the bulb degradation level.The study of N P K nutrient metabolic of tulip show that N, P and K significantly influenced on growth and development of tulip with P having the biggest effect followed by N and K, especially in the period of flowers later. Each absorption of N, P2O5, K2O was180.53mg,33.27mg,180.53mg, absorption ratio of1:0.18:0.28on’apricot impression’; N, P2O5, K2O absorption of’Corolla’average were only86.95mg,23.16mg,15.88mg, absorption ratio of1:0.27:0.18.The bulb rejuvenation cultivation in Beijing offsite showed that the high altitudes cultivation in Sihai town is not ideal. The offsite cultivation improved the compactness and reduced infection rate of the daughter bulb, but did not increase the diameter of the regenerated daughter bulb, so the high altitude bulb rejuvenation cultivation remains to be further studied.The research is the first report to combine with ornamental traits and the daughter bulb reutilization to make a comprehensive evaluation and provide guidance for tulip purchase. It can improve the growth of the daughter ball by transforming the substrate cultivation and suitable fertilization combining with the variety selection, which achieve the goal that the daughter bulbs of some varieties reuse in the flower show.
