Effects of shoots number and fruits number on photosynthetic rate, vegetative growth, yield andfruit quality in Amur Grape (‘Beibinghong’, a cultivar) were studied, and effects of priming leaf indifferent periods on photosynthetic rate and berry quality in Amur Grape (‘Zuoyouhong’, a cultivar)were studied. The study results can provide theoretical reference for cultivating efficiently Vitisamurensis Rupr.The main results of this experiment were summarized as follows:1. Photosynthetic rate of grapevines of single Guyot was higher than that control, climbing withincreasing of shoots number and fruits number, which was the highest to the (5pairs of shoots-3bunches of grapes) treatment. Priming leaf in different periods significantly increased photosyntheticrate of grapevine,and effects of Aug.27leaf removal and Sept.3leaf removal were better with its extentof increase being11.08%and9.77%respectively.2. The growth rate of berries of control was higher than other treatments at early stage of growthand development, however, control was lower than the most of them at late stage. The leaf area, shootlength and diameter of single Guyot were higher than control, and declined with increasing of shootsnumber and fruits number in general. The yield per tree of control was the highest, but the yield oftreatments increased with increasing of shoots number and fruits number, and the weight of berry andquality of fruit cluster changing inversely in the mass.3. In general,the quality of berries of single Guyot was better than control, sugar content and totalanthocyanins content climbing with increasing of shoots number and fruit number, and total acidcontents declining, and else phenols content changing complexly.4. Priming leaf in different periods significantly increased sugar content in berries and phenolscontent in peels, and decreased acid content, with effects of leaf removal in Aug.27and Sept.3beingbetter in the mass.48aroma compounds were identified in berries of “Zuoyouhong” as below:15alcohols,21esters,6acids,2ketones,2terpenoids,1phenol and1aldehydes. Leaf removal decreasedcontents of some alcohols with low molecular weight,the earlier leaves was removed,the more obviouseffect we can get; Leaf removal increased1-hexanol content, isoamyl acetate content, ethyl octylatecontent and neryl acetate content, and decreased hexanoic acid content, octoic acid content and capricacid content.5. Above all, the quality of berries of single Guyot was better than control,but it is better to controlshoots number and fruits number; and leaf removal sigsignificantly improved fruit quality: increasingsugar content, phenols content and content of some important aroma components in berries,decreasingacid content.
