Objective:1.To explore the cognitive dysfunction characteristics of the patients with vascular cognitive impairment no dementia (VCIND) by the neuropsychological scale.2.To explore the resting EEG’s features of the patients with vascular cognitiveimpairment of no dementia(VCIND) by relative power spectrum.3.To investigate the features of patients’event related potentials(ERP) with vascular cognitive impairment of no dementia(VCIND).Subjects:1. From May to December in2012,a total of62out and hospitalized patientsin The Second Artillery General Hospital were choosen in this study.The30patients (Male14,Female16,Max age78,Min age52,Average age64.87±6.13) with vascular cognitive impairment no dementia(VCIND)were screened as experimental group; At the same time,31normal cognition older adults who were age、sex and education matched with the VCIND group (Male14,Female18,Max age80,Min age51,Average age66.91±7.21) were chosen as the control group.2.Both of the VCIND group and the control group were checked by the mini-mental state examination、 montreal cognitive assessment、auditory verbal learningtest、trail making test、stroop color words test and digit span test.3.Using Amps300amplifier、high density128-channel EGI acquisition systemcollected resting EEG and ERP from the patients with vascular cognitive impairment no dementia (VCIND).Results:1.Compared with the control group, the sores of AVLT、TMT、Stroop Color Words Test、Digit Span Test as well as Verbal Fluency Test were both statically low er(P<0.05) in the VCIND group.2.Compared with the control group, the resting EEG frequency wregenerally slower in the VCIND group, but that have no statistical significance(P>0.05).The relative power of high α rhythm in the frontal and temporal regions, and the high αand low β rhythm in the left frontal region decreased statically in the VCIND group(P<0.05).On the contrary, the α rhythm and β rhythm’s relative power had no significant difference(P>0.05)at the parietal and occipital regions. At last, the relative power of δand θ rhythm had no significant difference at all the four regions(P>0.05).3.Compared with the control group,The latency of P3and N200-P300were significantly longer, and the amplitude of P300was significantly lower at the Fz point.Conclusions:1.Current study indicates that there are cognitive impairment in multiple domains including memory、attention、executive function、naming skills in patients withVCIND.2.In the resting state, both of the VCIND group and control group’s EEG weregenerally slower than the normal, and before the decrease ofδ、θ rhythm decreased, the high α and low β rhythm in the left frontal region decreased statically.3.At the VCIND group prefrontal, the latency of P3、N200-P300were significantly longer, and the amplitude of P300was significantly lower than the control group.
