Objective: To forward-looking view of the efficacy and safety of solifenacin jointbehavioral therapy for female overactive bladder (OAB) failed in tolterodine treatment.Discusses the possibility of treat OAB use a new generation of high selectivity M3blockers solifenacin replace tolterodine.Method:32cases of female OAB patients to our clinic of urology who failed intolterodine treatment replace by solifenacin from October2010to August2011. Takingmethod:5mg everytime,1time everyday, at the same time joint behavior therapyintervention, include improve life habit, reducing the intake of caffeine, carbonatedbeverages and sweet food, control the quantity of liquid into body, bladder and pelvicfloor muscles training. Using the method of self-control before and after treatment,average24h urgent urination times, micturition times, nykturie times, grade ofsymptoms after quantification OABSS, parameters of urine flow rate (Qmax, Qave, VV)of urinate diary as the outcome measures, observe adverse reactions during treatmentand evaluate efficacy and safety of treatment.Results:29cases of patients according to requirment finished30days treatment.6cases of patients to the standard of heal (20.7%),15cases of patients feel frequentmicturition and urgent urination significant improvement (51.7%), total effective rate72.4%. The urinate diary record: Average24h urgent urination times, micturition timesand nykturie times were down1.0±0.9times,1.3±2.21times and0.7±0.7times comparewith before drug, differences are Statistics significant (P<0.05); Symptoms afterquantification OABSS each single score and total score all decreased(P<0.05), the gradeof question2(nykturie times) and question3(urgent urination times) down the mostobvious, consistent with urination diary index; Qmax, Qave and VV of urine flow rateindex are increased compare with before drug, differences are statistics significant (P<0.05).3cases of patients among29patients appeared adverse reactions, mainfeature is mild dry mouth, and1patient exist slight dry eye, all can tolerate, no seriousadverse reaction during healing process.Conclusion: The OAB patients failed in tolterodine treatment who choose highselectivity M3blockers solifenacin joint behavior therapy still can obtain good effect, itcan significantly improve the clinical symptoms part, improve the quality of life, and noobvious adverse reaction, safe and reliable. In this study is still no obvious symptomsimprove of patients can be used together calcium channel blockers medicine, composedof anxiety drugs or prostaglandin synthesis inhibitors and other drugs to ease afrequency, urgency symptoms still needs to be further explored.
