| Objective:To investigate the changes of homocysteine (Hcy),C-reactive protein (CRP) and von willebrand factor(vwf) in patients with type2diabetic retinopathy (DR) and determine if any correlations exist among these factors.Methods:87patients with type2diabetes mellitus(T2DM) were investigated in Shanxi Da Yi Hospital from June2012to September2012.Among them,28patients were in proliferative DR(PDR) group,28patients were in non-diabetic retinopathy (NPDR) group,31patients were in T2DM without DR(NDR) group.28patients were as control group.Age and sex matched with patients group. FPIA was used to assay the contents of Hey.Nephelometry was used to assay the contents of CRP. ELISA was used to assay the contents of vwf. Results:The contents of Hey in PDR group,NPDR group,NDR group,CON group were15.768±4.712μmol/L,14.463±4.893μmol/L,12.874±3.443μmol/L and10.308±3.234μmol/L.The contents of CRP were3.126±1.126mg/L,2.434±0.577mg/L,2.307±0.352mg/L and1.731±0.657mg/L. The contents of vwf were29.386±11.205mU/mlã€24.225±4.076mU/ml,19.580±4.903mU/ml and16.622±4.873mU/ml.There were significant differences among all the groups(P<0.001) except NPDR group and NDR group(P>0.05). There were positive correlations between homocysteine and CRP(r=0.4, P<0.001), homocysteine and vwf(r=0.4, P<0.001).Conclusions:Homocysteine,CRP and vwf participate in the occurring and developing of diabetic retinopathy. |
