Effect Of The Pain By Spring Point Pricking Blood Therapy On Acute Gouty Arthritis

ObjectiveTo investigate and explore the effect of the pain by spring point pricking blood therapy on acute gouty arthritis.MethodsConsistent with acute gouty arthritis (syndrome of stagnation of damp-heat) in60cases of diagnosed patients, randomly divided into the treatment group (30cases) and control group (30cases). Two groups were given basic treatment of Western Medicine according to "Endocrine and metabolic disease medication guide", treatment group was treated mainly by spring point pricking blood therapy; the control group was only given Western Medicine treatment. After1courses of treatment, we used the Visual Analogous Scale (VAS) from the branch of Chinese Medical Association of pain and according to the "Evaluation standard guidelines of clinical research on new drugs" to evaluate the therapeutic effect in the two groups before and after treatment. We could observe and evaluate the effect of the pain by spring point pricking blood therapy on acute gouty arthritis.ResultsAccording to VAS score, the VAS score of two groups after treatment compared with before treatment:P<0.05, there was significant difference between the changes. After treatment, the mean VAS score in the treatment group was2.75±2.04, the control group was3.43±1.68. Comparison between the treatment group and the control group, after treatment, VAS score had significant difference (P<0.05). According to two groups of symptoms and signs,, the treatment group cured, markedly effective, effective, ineffective was1cases (3.33%),9cases (30%),20cases (66.67%),0cases (0%), the total effective rate was100%, the control group cured, markedly effective,0ineffective, respectively. Cases (0%),5cases (16.67%),25cases (83.33%), 0cases (0%), the total effective rate was100%, P>0.05, the difference has no statistical significance. Compare to the markedly effective rate, the treatment group was better than the control group (P<0.05). In treatment group, the main symptoms and signs of joint pain, joint activities, local skin were significantly improved (P<0.01) after treatment, treatment group compared with control group, P<0.05, there was significant difference.ConelusionSpring point pricking blood therapy combined with western medicine and pure western medicine treatment both have effects on acute gouty arthritisboth. Both of them can obviously alleviate acute gouty arthritis pain symptoms. Compared with the pure western medicine treatment, Spring point pricking blood therapy has significantly clinical curative effect on acute gouty arthritis patients. It can significantly improve the acute gouty arthritis in patients with symptoms, signs, in particular, can quickly relieve pain, and swelling, back red significantly greater and faster recovery of joint function. Acupuncture prescription is fine, simple, non-toxic side effects. This therapy is worthy of clinical application.
