Objective:To observe the integral difference of chinese medical symptoms before and after the treatment as well as changes in the level of fasting and postprandial blood glucose, then carry on objective evaluation, providing some references and clinical basis for prevention and treatment of diabetes gastrointestinal disease.Method:90cases patients treated in endocrine department of Guang’ anmen Hospital of China Academy of Chinese medical science during July2012to March2013were included in this reaserch meeting the requirements and the three types differentiation standard of TCM.,each syndrome types were30cases and was given basic treatment and one oral Chinese medicine, the treatment lasted4weeks, using diabetes gastrointestinal lesions case watch list to observe the integral difference of chinese medical symptoms, the levels of blood glucose before treatment, treatment after2weeks, treatment after4weeks, to evaluate curative effect through integral comparison of before and after observation.Results:90cases of patients who were included in obversation, age ranged from28to86,mean age was60.82±13.16,36male and54female,male:female=1:1.5. The scores of chinese medical symptoms had decreased (p<0.05) after2weeks’ treatment as well as4weeks’ among spleen-stomach damp-heat syndrome, yang deficiency of spleen and kidney syndrome, disharmony between liver and stomach syndrome, compared to after2weeks’ treatment, the scores after4weeks’ reatment also decreased.Among this, the scores of disharmony between liver and stomach syndrome and spleen-stomach damp-heat syndrome decreased significantly(p<0.01). The effective rate of spleen-stomach damp-heat syndrome after2weeks’ treatment and after4weeks’ treatment is73.33%,90%; yang deficiency of spleen and kidney syndrome is76.67%,86.67%;disharmony between liver and stomach syndrome is63.33%,80%.There was no statistically significant difference among the effective rate of three syndrome types, however, from the statistical data analysis, the effective rate of spleen-stomach damp-heat syndrome is higher than the other two syndrome types. The blood glucose level of three syndrome types present a downward trend, compared to before treatment, the two groups:spleen-stomach damp-heat syndrome and yang deficiency of spleen and kidney syndrome was without statistical difference, but the blood glucose level of disharmony between liver and stomach syndrome was decreased significantly after4weeks’treatment than2weeks’ treatment, and the difference was statistically significant. Conclusions:Spleen deficiency is the foundation of the diabetes gastrointestinal disease, as the course of the disease extended,it can also effect renal, the failure cathersis of liver is the important factor of the disease. The syndrome differentiation and treatment of Traditional Chinese Mdeicine has good clinical curative effect, it not only improve the clinical symptoms, but also reduce the level of blood glucose.
