ObjectiveThis study attempts to research on medical examination data of radiation workers in Yunnan province, to explore the effect of occupation exposure on radiation workers, and provide reference for related work and policy making in the future.MethodBased on the medical examination data of2362radiation workers and consecutive data of178radiation workers in7years, establish a database by Excel, using SPSS17.0software for statistical analysis. Describe demographic characteristics of2362cases of radiation workers in Yunnan province, analysis the abnormal situation of Blood Routine Indexes and other clinical symptoms and abnormal situation. Review medical examination continuous data of radiation workers from2005to2011, analyze the dynamic change of demographic characteristics, blood routine indexes and other examinations.Result1, Demographic characteristics of radiation workers.Radiation workers predominantly male, age distribution are mainly concentrated under40years old. Target radiation workers are mainly distributed in Kunming, Qujing, Yuxi and so on. Work mainly distributed at the B ray device application, radiation medical staff accounted for all the82.7%radiation workers.This survey suggests that eye lens opacity increases with age in radiation workers, the difference was significant. There were no significant differences of radiation workers in white blood cell, hemoglobin, platelet between A and B abnormality rate.2, Changes in health status of radiation workersAnalysis on white blood cell, hemoglobin and platelet data of178cases of radiation workers from2011to2005for7consecutive years show that white blood cell, hemoglobin and platelet every7years the average values were in the normal range, no obvious regularity on platelet, hemoglobin, white blood cells in each year between the change. data comparison of medical institutions group of radiation workers hemoglobin values below average for radiation workers non-medical institutions group, there was significant difference between platelets and leukocytes, radiation workers, medical institutions set value average level and non medical group has no significant difference.ConclusionLong-term low doses of occupation irradiation on radiation workers causes the higher ratio of abnormal len, peripheral blood cells may be affected to a certain extent, remind us that we should strengthen the radiation protection, improve staff radiation protection awareness and strengthen personal protective measures. Abnormal symptoms from2005to2011was significantly decreased.
