Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms of CASP-8Genes and Susceptibilityof peripheral T-cell LymphomaResearch:The cysteine protease8(CASP8) located on chromosome2q33area and played acrucial role in the apoptosis and activition of immune T cells. Recent studies demonstratedthat polymorphism of CASP8associated with the susceptibility of a wide variety of tumor.PTCL(PTCL peripheral T-cell lymphomas) is one kind of malignant tumor involved with theT cell. However, its mechnism is not clear yet, nethier of the relationship betweenpolymorphism and the susceptibility of PTCL. In this study, we analyzed the relationshipbetween casp-652ins/del polymorphism in CASP8gene and the risk of PTCL.Genotypes of CASPS were determined in46patients with PTCL and73frequency-matched controls.Odds ratios(OR)and95%confidence intervals(95%Cl)were estimated bylogistic regression,and all statistical tests were twosided,p value must be less than0.05.Results:1. PTCL group compared with control group age (OR=0.967,95%CI0.967,0.943, P <0.05). Gender comparisons (OR=1.891,95%CI0.825,4.333, P>0.05).2.
