| Objective: To observe the changes of blood pressure variability (Blood pressurevariability BPV) and mean platelet volume in hypertension patients with carotidatherosclerosis, to explore the correlation between BPV and MPV.Methods:110caseshospitalized from September2010to June2012at the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of XinjiangMedical University, and all the people60-75years of age meet the inclusion criteria ofpatients with essential hypertension. All patients were performed color doppler ultrasound,according to the carotid artery intima-media thickness(IMT) were divided into twogroups:Group A is one of essential hypertenaion with normal IMT of54persons, Group Bis one of hypertension with IMT thickening of56persons. For selected patients24h-hourambulatory blood pressure monitoring, calculating each patient BPV related index. Testthe level of MPV, three groups of test results were compared and analyzed thecharacteristics of each BPVã€MPV value, analysis the relationship between BPV and MPV.Result: Hypertension with IMT thickening group of24hSBPSD,24hSBPCV, dSBPSD,dSBPCV, nSBPSD, nSBPCV, and MPV level are higher than the pure hypertension group.Hypertension with IMT thickening group of MPV value and24hSBPSDã€24hSBPCVã€dSBPSDã€d SBPCVã€n SBPSDã€nSBPCV into positive correlation (p <0.05).Conclusion:Hypertension with carotid atherosclerotic patients BPV increases, the higher level of MPV.Patients with high blood pressure can promote platelet activation reaction, promote thehypertension patients carotid atherosclerosis occurrence and development... |
