Objective：To investigate the content and structure that can represent the state andtrauma research and care in Urumqi and cater for effective registration of trauma. Andanalysis of the problems that may exist in the trauma governance process, reveal severetrauma epidemiological characteristics of the city at this stage, help our trauma researchand treatment work.Methods: The city severe trauma research and treatment of the statusquo and development needs analysis, their time of injury, the injured area, woundingincentives and etiology, treatment analysis. Establish a database of all the data areanalyzed by statistical software SPSS10.0treatment seeking P value.Results: Through thecollation and analysis of the city’s admissions of10,702cases of severe trauma patientdata, revealed the occurrence regularity and general characteristics of the city severetrauma patients, found that the Urumqi hospital admissions the number of trauma patientshas increased year by year; severe trauma patients accounted for proportion of the totalnumber of emergency patients in the pre-hospital also increased year by year; patientswith severe trauma caused various reasons, traffic injuries, falls, and violent injury amongthe top three of the city severe trauma patients, men and women constitute a cause ofinjury than insufficiency; severe trauma patients in different ethnic groups and differenttime distribution is different; according to the injured area, look at the top three were:injury and fractures of limbs, multiple trauma, head and neck injuries; serious the traumaoccurred ages:21to30-year-old,31a40-year-old,41to50years old; different causes ofinjury in the distribution of the different ages; hair every day like period were:9:00-12:00,12:00-15:00,15:00-18:00,18:00-21:00; annual predilection trauma month: May,June, July, August.Conclusion: The serious trauma treatment is a continuous not ask offthe process, especially in critically ill patients with the same vital signs in the dynamic changes in the in-depth study of crowd severe trauma predisposing factors, prevalence oflaw and preventive measures to reduce the incidence of trauma the basis of a theory; thissurvey through time the city severe trauma patient’s age, occupation, gender, tribes, andsevere trauma, and other relevant factors, epidemiologic investigations, scientific andreasonable training, organization professionals patients reduce mortality to be the fastest,the best pre-hospital ambulance preliminary theoretical basis.
