Objective: The secretion of six kinds of hormones through the pituitary endocrineexamination and postoperative pathological diagnosis were analyzed, and the consistencyof the①assess preoperative serological diagnostic accuracy of the diagnosis of pituitary tumors;②guidance preoperative medication, in order to facilitate the conduct of surgery and perioperativetreatment;③inoperable (older) or do not want to be treated surgically(such as pregnant womenor patients of childbearing intentions) to give conservative treatment basis.Methods:Retrospective analysis from January2007to September2007in xinjiang medical university thesecond affiliated hospital neurosurgery patients with pituitary adenoma surgery preoperativehormone level diagnosis and postoperative pathological diagnosis. In patients withpituitary adenoma history data collection, sorting, entry, including name, age, gender,clinical symptoms, preoperative serum hormone levels, imaging examination andpostoperative pathological diagnosis report. Based on using consistency check Kappavalues for statistical analysis of six kinds of hormone of pituitary serological diagnosis andpostoperative pathological diagnosis of consistency.Results: Six kinds of hormone ofpituitary adenoma consistency of serological diagnosis and pathological diagnosis werehigher. Conclusion: The preoperative hormone levels of pituitary adenoma control ofpreoperative administration of pituitary tumor growth, is advantageous to the operation,reduce the risk of surgery is very important. Recommended for all lines of pituitaryadenoma surgery in patients with preoperative improvement of pituitary hormone six ofserological examination, and routine pathological examination after operation, to reducethe rate of missed diagnosis or misdiagnosis.
