| Object: To investigate the effects of liquid flow and velocity between the system training of nursing staffand traditional training of nursing staff in the operation of Micro Syringe pumps.Methods:70patients with syringe pumps in the department of Cardiology were devided into the observinggroup and the control group. The method of systematic training was used in the former(n=35) and themethod of tradition training was adopted in the later(n=35), be performed separately by nurses in the systemtraining group and nurses in the traditional training group. Measurement of the actual time of infusion at10ml/hr,20ml/hr,30ml/hr,40ml/hr and49.5ml/hr, time gaps between actual infusion time and expectedinfusion time, blood pressure before and after infusion, and the incidence of adverse events among twogroups; To compare the difference about the time of infusion, time gaps between actual infusion timeand expected infusion time, the changes of blood pressure before and after infusion and the incidence ofadverse events between two groups. Statistical analysis was performed with SPSS17.0statistical software, including t test, a nonparametric test (Mann-Whitney U test), the results of repeated-measures ANOVAand Chi-Square test.Results:①.There were no statistically differences between the observing group and the control group inconstituent ratios of nursers’ age, level of education, professional title, type of nursers and work experience(all P>0.05).②There were no statistically differences between the observing group and the control group inconstituent ratios of patients’ age, gender, condition(all P>0.05).③There were also statistically differencesin the time of infusion at10ml/hr,20ml/hr,30ml/hr,40ml/hr and49.5ml/hr between two groups(allP>0.05).④Compared with the control group, the infusion times at10ml/hr,20ml/hr,30ml/hr,40ml/hr and49.5ml/hr in the observing group were closer the estimated times(P<0.05).⑤There were statisticallydifferences in Systolic blood pressure(Mauchly’ s W=0.808, F=4941.61,P=0.000), Systolic bloodpressure of different times(F=25.71,P=0.000), Diastolic blood pressure(Mauchly’ s W=0.760, F=6409.96,P=0.000), Diastolic blood pressure of different times(F=4.32,P=0.041) between twogroups.⑥There were also significant difference in the rates of venous blood return, pipe blockage andfluctuation of heart rates between two groups(P<0.05), but there weren’ t significant difference in the ratesof ligrid spills and pipeline discount between two groups(P>0.05).Discussion:①In the operation of Micro syringe pumps, training nursing staff with the system method ishelpful in the stability of infusion speed.②Training nursing staff with the system method can reduce therates of adverse events and achieve the goal of treatment. |
