Endorectal Ultrasonography In Preoperative Staging Evaluation Of Rectal Cancer

Objective:To evaluate the accuracy of Endorectal Ultrasonography in Preoperative Staging of Rectal Cancer.Methods:Forty eight patients of rectal cancer were examined by endorectal ultrasonography, and the results were compared with postoperative pathologic staging.Results:In staging depth of invasion,the overall accuracy endorectal ultrasonography was77.1percent,In staging of lymph nodes,the overall accuracy was75.0percent. Conclusion:Endorectal ultrasonography in preoperative staging evaluation of rectal cancer is valuable,and it has a significant impact on clinical diagnosis and treatment of rectal cancer.
