Objective: To observe the effects of6%130/0.4hydroxyethyl starchon coagulation in the rats with severe sepsis.Methods: SD rats were subjected to sepsis induced by cecalligation and puncture (CLP). Eighty healthy rats were randomly dividedinto four groups: The normal control group (not open the abdomen,n=8),The sham-operation group (SC group,open the abdomen to find thececum but not ligate it and not punch a hole,and injected thephysiological saline by vena with the dose of15ml/kg at3hours afteropening the abdomen,n=24),The model group (SEP group,open theabdomen,then ligate it and punch the cecum, and injected thephysiological saline with the dose of15ml/kg after the establishment ofCLP for3hours,n=24), and The HES treated group (HES group,openthe abdomen,then ligate it and punch the cecum, and injected the HESwith the dose of15ml/kg after the establishment of CLP for3hours,n=24). Drawn the blood from the heart of the rats in the sham-operationgroup, the model group and the HES treated group after the establishmentof the model for3hours. And determinate the variety of PT,TT,APTT,FIB and PLT of the rats at3h,12h,24h after the establishment,every grouphave8rats.Results: The PT,TT,APTT of the rats in the SEP group grewhigher and the FIB was lower significantly at the different time point afterthe establishment than those in the SC group,(P<0.05). As compared with the SEP group,PT,TT,APTT were higher and FIB were decreasedsignificantly in the HES groups. The difference between the two groups isvery outstanding (P<0.05).As Compared with the The sham-operationgroup,the PLT of the SEP group and the HES group were decreasedsignificantly (P<0.05).As compared with the SEP Group, PLT in the HESgroup decreased slowly and delay significantly (P <0.05).Conclusion: Itis suggested that HES130/0.4could improve the disorder of the bloodcoagulation and alleviate its symptoms in sepsis by effecting onPT,TT,APTT,FIB and PLT.To take the hydroxyethyl starch at the earlytime can prevent it from deterioration and evolution.
