| Objective:To investigate the Relationship of pulmonary arterial systolic pressure measured Doppler and parameters of right heart ventricle and main pulmonary artery measured MRI patients with pulmonary hypertension.Methods:34patients with pulmonary hypertension examined cine-MRI and phase-contrast MRI (PC-MRI) and doppler ultrasound. Images were post-processed on Report Card software and the following parameters were obtained:Right ventricular end-diastolic volume(RVEDV),Right ventricular end-systolic volume(RVESV), Right ventricular stroke volume(RVSV),Right ventricular ejection fraction(RVEF)and Right ventricular myocardial mass(RVMM). Except for ejection fraction, all of the parameters were normalized to body surface area (BSA), RVEDV indexã€RVESV indexã€RVSV index and RVMM index were obtained. PC-MRI images were post-processed on Report Card software, distensibility of main pulmonary artery (MPA) could also be obtained. Linear correlation analysis was carried out on the data by statistical software SPSS17.Results:â‘ RVEDV index obtained by MRI has positive correlation with PASP measured by Doppler (r=0.423,P=0.013).â‘¡RVESV index obtained by MRI has positive correlation with PASP measured by Doppler,(r=0.452,P=0.007).â‘¢RVEF obtained by MRI has negative correlation with PASP measured by Doppler,(r=-0.453,P=0.007).â‘£Distensibility of main pulmonary artery (MPA) obtained by MRI has negative correlation with PASP measured by Doppler,(r=-0.489,P=0.003).⑤RVSV index obtained by MRI has no significant correlation with PASP measured by Doppler.â‘¥RVMM index obtained by MRI has positive correlation with PASP measured by Doppler (r=0.500,P=0.003).Conclusion:In patients with pulmonary hypertension measured by MRI, RVEDV index〠RVESV index and RVMM index have positive correlation with PASP measured by Doppler; RVEF and Distensibility of MPA have negative correlation with PASP measured by Doppler;RVSV index has no significant correlation with PASP measured by Doppler. The parameters obtained by MRI were RVMM index〠Distensibility of MPAã€RVEFã€RVESV index and RVEDV index in turn based on the degree of their correlation with PASP measured by Doppler.Cardiac MRI is of certain applied value in diagnosis and progression of patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension. |
