We retrieved the information on The clinical data of hospitalized patients fromJanuary,1th，2001to September,30th，2008. Then, according to the theories and methodssuch as Median, Vilfredo Pareto Principle and so on, we designed the hospitalization time,contents and items in diagnosis and treatment flow of clinical pathway.2. Put the clinical pathway into practice in clinic in August,2008. After a period ofpractice, we systematically analyze and evaluate the data by the hospital information system.3. Under the‘SPSS13.0for windows’and ‘Excel2007’，data was processed.ResultsThe clinical pathway group compared with the control group,the average length ofstay,total hospital costs were significantly lower,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction of clinical pathway group of patients and medical staffsatisfaction significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).ConclusionThis topic through the previous retrospective study of hospitalized patients withclinical data and detailed breakdown of each link, to determine the standard of suchconfinement and the diagnosis and treatment projects, and on this basis, combined with theexpert opinion for the first time formulated the basic medical and health institutions versionof clinical path.
