Objective:The contrast of nerve block and pulse frequency on the degree of alleviatepostherpetic neuralgia and treatment effect. Methods:Collected36patients in The FirstTeaching Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University who treated postherpetic neuralgia fromJune2012to February2013, randomly divided into nerve block group (control group)and pulse radiofrequency group (treatment group). Control group located the herpes area, related to the nerve trunk, nerve root to nerve block. Treatment group used pulsedradiofrequency to treat the related area of herpes nerve trunk and nerve root. We usedVisual Analogue Scale (VAS) to evaluate the therapeutic effect. All data were used t testandχ2test statistic method, the results were analysis by SPSS18.0statistics. Results:Pulsed radiofrequency treatment with nerve block treatment VAS score before treatmenthad no statistics significance(P>0.05);Contrasted the VAS score of the times beforetreatment, with instantly after treated、3days after treated、a week after treated, and of amonth after treated in treatment group, they had statistics significance(P<0.05);Contrasted the VAS score of the times before treatment, with instantly after treated,and3days after treated, and a week after treated, and of a month after treated in control group, they all had statistics significance (P<0.05);Contrasted the VAS score of two groups ininstantly after treated, there was no statistics significance(P>0.05);Contrasted the VASscore of the times with3days after treated, and a week after treated, and a month aftertreated in two groups, they had statistics significance (P<0.05);Contrasted thetreatmenteffect of two groups in instantly after treated, and of a montzh after treated, there wasnostatistics significance(P>0.05)。Conclusion:Pulse radiofrequency and nerve block have the effective to treatment of postherpetic neuralgia, but pulse radiofrequency grouphave a more effective.
