Objective:To investigate the inspired oxygen concentration (FiO2), PaO2/FiO2andPEEP in acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and its clinical significance defined. Methods: A retrospective study of24patients required mechanical ventilation in patientswith ARDS, the implementation of lung recruitment (CPAP setting PS to12cmH2O PEEP15cm reexpansion120s) to maintain baseline ventilation, stable30min set FiO2: for0.5,respectively, adjusted the PEEP for5cmH2O10cmH2O15cmH2O set FiO2:1:00,respectively, to adjust PEEP of5cmH2O10cmH2O ARDS correlation of15cmH2O patientblood gas analysis and OI values. SPSS17.0statistical software to compare Fi02PEEPlevels in patients with blood gas index change and its related and OI index ARDS definedby the U.S. meeting and the definition of Berlin. Results: when PaO2=0.5, are shown inTable1, PEEP=5cmH20increase in PEEP=the10cmH20when PEEP=10cmH20increased PEEP=15cmH20when, OI gradually increased, and the increase was morepronounced difference was statistically significant (P <0.001). When PaO2=1.0, PEEP=5cmH20, and when PaO2=0.5, PEEP=5cmH20when, OI increased significantly, and thedifference was statistically significant (P <0.000). When PaO2=1.0, PEEP=5cmH20increased PEEP=15cmH20, OI was not statistically significant (P=0.143).Conclusion:inspired oxygen concentration, PaO2/FiO2and PEEP to oxygenation index of ARDSpatients, which may affect the diagnosis of ARDS, which may be related to pulmonaryshunt.
