| Objective:To investigate the efficacy of circumferential pulmonary vein isolation(CPVI)and CPVI combined complex fractionated atrial electrograms ablation for atrialfibrillation(AF)in longterm follow-up.Methods:Data from209patients who wereunderwent CPVI and CPVI combined CFAEs ablation in our hospital were collected andtook a mean follow-up of36months.Every patients took not less than of36monthsfollow-up after ablations, including complications and in stable sinus rhythm. Results:Themean total procedure times were(124.330.9min vs140.336min)for CPVI and CPVIcombined CFAEs ablation. The mean total fluoroscopy times were(35.49.1min vs4311min)CPVI and CPVI combined CFAEs ablation. There were no difference ofpulmonary vein isolation in CPVI and CPVI combined CFAEs ablation(38.37.7min vs407.3min,P=0.55).During a mean follow-up of36months,the procedure success ratewas higher in the CPVI combined CFAEs ablation in6,12months(73.1%vs51.1%,65.9%vs44.4%,P<0.05).Conclusion:CPVI and CPVI combined CFAEs ablation were insimilar success rate in paroxysmal atrial fibrillation.CPVI combined CFAEs ablation wasbetter than CPVI results in stable sinus rhythm in persistent atrial fibrillation to12monthsof follow-up,but this difference was no longer significant more than12months.CPVIablation get high success rate in subgroups of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation at6,12and24months compared with persistent AF subgroup(72.4%vs51.5%,65.5%vs44.4%,60.3%versus40%),CPVI+CFAEs ablation take no difference between the two subgroups. |
