Objectives: To investigate the association of PITX2and TBX5polymorphism with Lone AtrialFibrillation.Methods: Established for the study in Ningbo population, Genomic DNA was extracted fromblood samples of all patients using a Qinagen blood DNA kit according to the standard protocol,The gene mutation of TBX5and PITX2by direct sequencing scanning patient group.Results: Highly signification difference was detected between case and control groups inrs3825214of TBX5, rs2075870polymorphism is highly relevant with LAF.An new variationswere also identified in PITX2, in exon2(c.790C>T).Conclusions: Through the research on TBX5and PITX2gene sequencing of the Han people inNingbo,the existence of a single mononucleotide mutant site has been found.As for theassociation between gene mutant site and the pathogenesis of lone atrial fibrillation, we still needsfurther functional research. TBX5is relevant with LAF,TBX5is the susceptible gene for LAF.
