In recent years, more and more developed with the technology of radiationtherapy, intensity modulated radiation therapy in the clinic, more and more,have become more sophisticated measurement requirements for the verificationof IMRT treatment plans. Film verification in the field of radiation therapy as aquality assurance the QA measurement tools has lasted a long, more and moreconvenient IMRT treatment plan verification measurement tools, has been themost measurement comparative benchmarking tool. This thesis is to study thefilm and simulation phantom as a tool in the IMRT treatment plan verificationmeasurement applications, as well as with other measurement methods iscurrently the most widely used of the two ionization chamber matrix and solidwater phantom in IMRT treatment plan verification comparison of themeasurement results.This study the film and simulation phantom IMRT treatment plan verificationmeasurement method, and then introduced the method of two ionizationchamber matrix and simulation phantom intensity modulated applications, and30cases of tune strong treatment plan validated measurement and the measuredresults of two measuring instruments for comparison, wherein in use the type ofuniform, non-uniform measurement of contrast phantom simulation were2.3%,3.8%,4.5%. And then use the film with two ionization chamber matrix (solidwater phantom) in the same conditions in the same mode validationmeasurements and compare the measurement results was1.8%,1.9%,0.7%, canbe seen under the same conditions two measurement tool measured results arevery close. Next, use the zero radiation field angle measurement of theionization chamber in the same solid water phantom for the simulation of thecourse of treatment radiation field angle and verification measurement resultswere compared and found that the the IMRT radiation field in the lowest errornear zero, radiation field itself is zero when the two authentication results arealmost the same, the radiation field in the above100o through the treatment bederror value increased to more than6%. Factors, including the the accelerator gantry angle, and this can affect the measurement results couch penetratingmeasurement, measurement results and impact corresponding to verify themeasurement result. And two measurement phantom contrast, the results were1.39%,2.11%,1.37%. Finally, all measurement results are summarized, andthen the accelerator gantry angle running MLC multileaf collimators.Research shows that, film and simulation phantom in IMRT verificationmeasurements, although time-consuming, but relative to other measurementmethods, measurement validation, film and simulation phantom is fully simulatethe treatment plan, but also can be seen in these Influencing factors Themeasurement results relative to other measurement methods, the error should betoo large a number, but the validation tool is the most restore the patient’streatment verification. In clinical applications, other measurement tools shouldbe at least every quarter film verification contrast, to verify the accuracy of themeasurement tools.
