Clinical Observaiton On Yiben Guchang Soup In Treating Deficiency Of Yang Of Both Spleen And Kidney Syndrome Of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (Diarrhea Type)

Objective：To analysis the curative effect and the mechanism of Deficiency of Yangof Both Spleen and Kidney Syndrome of Irritable bowel Syndrome (diarrhea type)treated by Yiben Guchang Soup based on clinic observation.Methods:60patients with IBS-D were divided into two groups at random: thetreatment group and the control group. The treatment group was given Yiben GuchangSoup by oral administration, Guben Yichang pills were given as control.4weeks wereset as a course of treatment. The clinical effects of each group were observed during thecourse and the6months follow-up.Results: Both groups can improve the clinical symptoms. Comparing with thecontrol group, diarrhea, ventosity and abdominal pain, the diarrhea after abdominal pain,fart, lack of power, inappetence and weak waist were obviously improved(P<0.05) in thetreatment group. But there is no significant difference in the chills symptom(P>0.05).The total effective rates were90.00%in treatment group and76.67%in controlgroup(P<0.05). So the effect of the treatment group was significantly better than that ofthe control group in improving clinical symptoms of IBS-D patients.Conclusions: Yiben Guchang Soup appears to have the significant effect in the treatment of Deficiency of Yang of Both Spleen and Kidney Syndrome of IBS-D. It hasimproved the clinic symptoms, TCM syndrome and the quality of life of IBS-D Patients.
