The Correlation Between Expression Of Special AT-rich Sequence Binding Protein1with Invasion And Metastasis In Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma

Objective：To investigate the correlation of expression of special AT-rich sequence bindingprotein1(SATB1) with invasion and metastasis in papillary thyroid carcinoma(PTC).Methods：Immunohistochemical Envision was ued to detect the expression of SATB1in82cases of PTC and39cases of adjacent non-tumor thyroid tissues.Results：The strong expression of SATB1were displayed in PTC group51.22%（42/82）respectively were significantly higher than adjacent non-tumor thyroid tissues17.95%（7/39）respectively（P＜0.01）; The positive rate of SATB1in lymph-node positivegroup were significantly higher than that in lymph-node negative group (P<0.01)；The positive rate of SATB1in invasion of tumor positive group were significantlyhigher than that in invasion of tumor negative group (P<0.05)；The expressions ofSATB1have correlative with size of tumor, age,clinical grade of PTC (P<0.01), butno relationship with gender (P＞0.05).Conclusion：SATB1is highly expressed in PTC,over expression of SATB1is closelyassociated with invasion and metastasis in PTC. Detect this protein will help earlydiagnosis and estimation of prognosis of PTC.
