The Correlation Between Expression Of Special AT-rich Sequence Binding Protein1with Invasion And Metastasis In Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma | Posted on:2014-06-24 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | Country:China | Candidate:Z J Yu | Full Text:PDF | GTID:2254330425458434 | Subject:Otolaryngology science | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | Objective:To investigate the correlation of expression of special AT-rich sequence bindingprotein1(SATB1) with invasion and metastasis in papillary thyroid carcinoma(PTC).Methods:Immunohistochemical Envision was ued to detect the expression of SATB1in82cases of PTC and39cases of adjacent non-tumor thyroid tissues.Results:The strong expression of SATB1were displayed in PTC group51.22%(42/82)respectively were significantly higher than adjacent non-tumor thyroid tissues17.95%(7/39)respectively(P<0.01); The positive rate of SATB1in lymph-node positivegroup were significantly higher than that in lymph-node negative group (P<0.01);The positive rate of SATB1in invasion of tumor positive group were significantlyhigher than that in invasion of tumor negative group (P<0.05);The expressions ofSATB1have correlative with size of tumor, age,clinical grade of PTC (P<0.01), butno relationship with gender (P>0.05).Conclusion:SATB1is highly expressed in PTC,over expression of SATB1is closelyassociated with invasion and metastasis in PTC.
