Transrectal Ultrasound And3.0T MRI In The Value For T-staging Of Rectal Cancer Research

ObjectiveTo investigate the transrectal ultrasound (TRUS) and3.0T MRI examination for earlycolorectal cancer the value of preoperative staging.MethodsRetrospective analysis of qianfoshan hospital gastrointestinal surgery in June2011-August2012selected cases of rectal cavity ultrasound images and3.0T MRI, and theirpreoperative staging result and postoperative pathologic stage do comparative study.ResultsTRUS for rectal cancer T time accuracy is95%,3.0T MRI for rectal cancer T timeaccuracy is80%, the χ2test analysis, TRUS diagnosis results are3.0T MRI diagnosisconclusion has significant difference (χ2=3.214, P <0.05), TRUS on T stage accuracyhigher than3.0T MRI.ConclusionsFor early colorectal cancer infiltration depth evaluation, TRUS is3.0T MRI has highpractical value and can be used as the preferred method of preoperative colorectal cancerstaging. For some T2stage rectal cancer,3.0T MRI in clear tumor with the surroundingtissue anatomy, and presence of lymph node metastasis, has higher value.
