| Abstract ObjectiveTo provide numerical basis of Chinese characteristics and reference value for thebuilding of a proximal tibial database about Chinese total knee arthroplasty throughmeasurement of proximal tibia osteotomy block parameter from patients with TKA.Methods60patients (30male,30female)with total knee arthroplasty from July2011to August2012in our hospital were selected,. The tibia platform osteotomy block parameter wasmeasured and analyzed the relationship of platform surface rate, medial-lateral diameter andanteroposterior diameter with gender and age by the multiple regression analysis.ResultsAnteroposterior diameter of tibia platform was51.31±5.70mm and medial-lateraldiameter was71.53±5.05mm with tibia platform surface rate (anteroposterior/medial-lateral)0.73±0.07. Gender and age had no significant effect to platform surface rate,medial-lateral diameter and anteroposterior diameter. But the height had staticallydifferences to platform surface rate, medial-lateral diameter and anteroposterior diameter.ConclusionThis study shows that geometric of Chinese tibia platform section is regular and thereis a increase in the anteroposterior diameter, medial-lateral diameter and tibia platformsurface rate of tibia platform osteotomy bone block with the increase of the height. Thisprovides numerical basis for TKA tibia prosthesis of Chinese characteristics. |
