So as to better guide the clinical drugs, avoid adverse reaction, improve the clinical curative effect. Put a gradual transition from experience to science of gender clinical regimen. Promote the development of the theory of traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:(1) Theoretical research:To strengthen the literature reading, extensive collect the past dynasties literature on gender differences of traditional Chinese medicine and modern medicine, especially the research progress of pharmacokinetic about gender differences and results, system arrangement and logical, reasonable deduction, enriched formula function proposition that gender difference materials, sufficient the evidence, and the principle.(2) Experimental study:From the theory of "Yin and Yang"、" Cold and Heat", we know men belong to Yang and women belong to Yin, Yang Cheng easily characterized by heat syndrome, Yin sheng easily presented with cold syndrome. Selected Tiaowei Chengqi decoction and Sini Decoction for the representatives decoction of the cold and warm, and select the male and female gender rats. Observe the differences indexes of Cold and Heat in different gender animal models before and after administration.Results:(1) Theoretical results:Gender in reproductive physiology, qi and blood, Yin and Yang, viscera and channels and so on various aspects are different, this is the basis of the formula function caused by gender differences. Sini Decoction can increase the rat body weight, water intake, food intake; extend the swimming time; increase the urine catecholamine,17-OHCS excretion; Blood within the thyroid hormone T3, T4content increases, male than the female is more significant.Conclusion:(1) There are gender differences between men and women in the field of biology, sociology and psychology.(2) Endocrine and metabolic indicators based pharmacodynamic experiment of Tiaowei Chengqi decoction and Sini Decoction have gender differences.(3) Formula’s function has gender differences.
