The Clinical Observation And Research On The Treatment The De Quervain Contrast With Layers Adjusting External Application Therapy And Voltaren Emulsion

[Background] de Quervaill is one of the common diseases of orthopedic and traumatology department in clinical, the main symptoms include pain and limited function.We ease the pain by oraling or scribblling the drugs at the beginning of de Quervaill. The "Layers Adjusting" External Application Therapy, Innovativeiy developed by Professor Fangshou Zhu in orthopedic and traumatology department in Jiangsu provincial hospital of Chinese medicine, is a new technique based on the traditional Chinese external therapy. Professor Fangshou Zhu create "Layers Adjusting" External Application Therapy based on "tri-color dressing" which is the secret recipe created by Mr. Shi Xiaoshan who is the founder of the Traumatology named "shishi".Orthopedic and traumatology department in Jiangsu provincial hospital of Chinese medicine has succeeded this technique in treating acute and chronic pain and injury diseases for decades and proved its significant clinical efficacy. We have rarely found side effects like Skin allergies over the years, the technique is higher security.[Objective] The research will compare the efficacy of "Layers Adjusting" External Application Therapy" and Voltaren emulsion in treating de Quervaill from academic literatures and clinical studies. We want to prove the suppose that the efficacy of "Layers Adjusting" External Application Therapy is exact or even better than Voltaren emulsion.[Methods] In the academic literature research part, we review the articles relevant with both Chinese and conventional medical therapies on de Quervaill in recent years systematically and analyse the pathogenisis and therapy strategies of both medicine. We also illustrate the mechanism of external therapy and its clinical application situation at present, thus provide theoretical proof for the clinical research. In the clinical research part, from May2012to February2013we observed60subjects(valid56cases) in orthopedic and traumatology outpatient department in Jiangsu provincial hospital of Chinese medicine and divided them into2groups randomly, subjects in the experimental group accepted "Layers Adjusting" external application therapy based on syndrome differential diagnosis, and subjects in the control group accepted Voltaren emulsion Conventionally as the external therapy. The treatment period is2weeks and we observed and wrote down the records such as ache, tenderness,swollen situations and joint dysfunction degrees of wrist and thumb on the3rd,7th,14thday. [Conclusion] The two groups have Significant difference in these aspects such as ache, tenderness,swollen situations and joint dysfunction degrees of wrist and thumb, overall rating in the groups.The experimental group have Statistical difference compared with the control group.All of these,we can summarize the conclusion that the efficacy of "Layers Adjusting" External Application Therapy is exact and better than Voltaren emulsion.
