To Observe The Curative Effect Of Salt Iron Method For Uterine Involution After Elective Cesarean Resection

Objective:To expore the effect of salt iron method on uterine involution after elective cesarean resection for the purpose of seeking a method that makes involution of uterus more quickly and completely.Methods:This study was consisted of60primiparas accepted elective cesarean resection. They were numbered according to admission dates, and randomly divided into2groups. Every group included30cases. After cesarean resection, both accepted conventional medical care, besides, the experimental group began to accept salt iron method by putting homemade hot salt bags on their low abdomen on the3rd day,20minites a time, twice a day for3days. Outcome measures:â‘ fundus daily decline;â‘¡bloody lochia stopping time;â‘¢B ultrasound examination of the uterus.Results:â‘ On postoperative day4to day6, the fundus declined in experimental group more quickly than in control group, there was significant difference between the2groups (P<0.05).â‘¡There was significant difference between the2groups with regard to bloody lochia stopping time by the time of postoperative day6(P<0.05).â‘¢On postoperative day6, the sum of long diameter, transverse diameter, and anteroposterior diameter of Uterus measured with B ultrasound of the experimental group was smaller than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).â‘£There was significant difference between the2groups with regard to the cases of hematometra observed with B ultrasound on postoperative day6(P<0.05).Conclusion:Salt iron method after elective cesarean resection could help fundus decline and lochia discharge, and could be beneficial to uterine involution.
