Objective: This subject is intended to be applied Simplant software to measurethe accuracy of Computer-assisted implantology, the size and the reasons of the erroranalysis of the mucosal support-type Computer-assisted implantology, in order tofurther improve the accuracy of clinical theory basis. Methods: Eight cases are chosen from patients receiving mucosal support-typeComputer-assisted implantology in Yantai Stomatology Hospital cultivation centerduring the period June2007and December2012. Produce interim denture and designatewith gutta, give each patient the CBCT scan before surgery, apply Simplant software todesign jaw implant before the surgery and generate the SurgiGuide surgical guides, under the guidance of the guides successfully fulfill the implant of49implants, makethe second CBCT scan immediately after the surgery, apply Simplant software on thethree-dimensional reconstruction of the preoperative and postoperative CBCT scan filethen jaw the level of registration, virtualize implant preoperative and postoperativeimplant within the same three-dimensional coordinate system, apply three-dimensionalmeasurement tools to measure each implant’s shoulder distance, root distance, angle anddepth to get the four indicators’ error, with each one measured three times and averagethe data, apply SPSS11.0software to statistical analysis. Results: The form of application as mean±standard deviation (X±s) describethe data results, the the49implant shoulder average error of0.73mm±0.53mm, themaximum average error of a single sample is1.31mm; average at the bottom of theimplant error of1.16mm±0.62mm, the maximum average error of a single sample is1.58mm; implant depth of the average error of0.95mm±0.64mm, the maximumaverage error of a single sample is1.72mm; implant angle average error of4.10°±3.23°, the maximum average error of a single sample value of5.94°(bucco-lingual angle, perpendicular to the ground line as the base). The error analysis results showed that the mucosa support SurgiGuide plantingguide plate (Belgium) guided implant surgery exist errors within the allowable range.Conclusion:1. Computer-assisted implantology exist errors,Application of Computer-basedguided the implantation of the implant shoulder error is less than1.5mm, the root anddepth of error of less than2mm, the angle error is less than6°,the errors are within theallowable range.2.Simplant is a powerful support planting dental software system that can bewidely applied to the design of the implant preoperative assessment, the production ofplanting surgical guides and the analysis of postoperative accuracy analysis.
