| Objective: To study of Enterococcus faecalis the effect on the expression ofmydoid diferentiation factor88(MyD88) in the process of rat periapical periodontitis.Methods:40male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into two groups:(Agroup and B group) A group, pulp cavity of the mandibular right first molars wereenclosed with PBS.B group, pulp cavity of the mandibular right first molars wereenclosed with Enterococcus faecalis. The mandibular left first molars were used forcontrol.Five rats of each group were sacrificed on1week,2week,3week,4week.Themandibular that contained the first molar were obtained for the frozen sections, whichperformed for HE staining,Anti-human MyD88were usd for immunohistochemicalstaining.Results:1.From1week to2week,a large number of inflammatory cell infiltration in the rightmandibular first molar and apical area of A group and B group;From3week to4week,two groups have a large number of lymphocytes;the control was no change.2.From1week to3week, the number of MyD88-positive cells increased.Then4week the number of MyD88-positive cells gradually decreased.Conclusion:1.The expression of MyD88in periapical periodontitis, which imply that possiblyinvolved in the inflammatory response. 2. Enterococcus faecalis up-regulated the expression of MyD88in periapicalperiodontitis. |
