Objective:Comparison of NT-proBNP and LP-pla2’s correlation with established index among the elderly cardiac dysfunction and SAS patients.Further with SAS patients were given auto-CPAP ventilator treatment to understand the short-term ventilator intervention on the levels of LP-pla2.Method:Every elderly cardiac dysfunction inpatients enrolled from2012-06to2013-02underwent PSG to divide them into groups with SAS and without. Then the cardiac dysfunction patients with SAS were randomized to receive auto-CPAP ventilator treatment or blank controls by table of random numbers, LP-pla2were measured before and after the treatment. We will analyze the relevance of LP-pla2and indicators of heart function and index of the degree of sleep-disordered breathing and how the ventilation influence LP-pla2.Results:Cardiac dysfunction patients with SAS show worse breathing while cardiac function was poorer. Contrast between cardiac dysfunction patients with SAS and non-sleep apnea patients, LVEF decreased and NT-proBNP increased while NYHA class and6min walk tests show no statistical significant difference. On correlation analysis, there is correlation between LP-PLA2and6min walk test (r=-0.735,P=0.000)、LVEF (r=-0.510,P=0.000)、NT-proBNP (r=0.390,P=0.002)、 AHI (r=0.410,P=0.001)、average SpO2(r=-0.332,P=0.010); while NT-pro BNP was correlated with6min walk test (r=-0.296,P=0.023). LVEF (r=-0.379,P=0.002)、AHI (r=0.491,P=0.000).There were no statistical significance correlation between average SpO2and NT-proBNP (r=-0.025,P=0.852.After treatment by the autoCPAP ventilator, lp-PLA2decreased while showed no statistical significance difference.Conclusions:1. LP-pla2may better reflect cardiac function in Cardiac dysfunction patients with SAS.2. Compared to NT-proBNP, Lp-PLA2can well reflect the degree of sleep-disordered breathing in cardiac dysfunction and SAS patients.3.12charts,7tables,31references.
