Medical social work is a modern medical and health care system is an important content. China’s current construction of a harmonious doctor-patient relationship, health care reform, the promotion of diversity and the changing pattern of modern medicine are on our medical social work put forward higher requirements. However, the implementation of medical social work path is not clear, institutional settings has not yet been clearly defined, arbitrarily set at all levels of medical institutions in the state; sources of funding for the work to obtain a single, fundamental for the government to allocate funds; equipped on the employees currently employed low level of specialization, medical social work role to play not so obvious; performance appraisal evaluation system missing, the lower level of professionalism.
