Monitor as an important equipment in medical monitoring, has an significant meaning to the health care workers on disease prevention、diagnosis and prognosis observations.this paper designed a discrete monitoring system of low-power、wireless transmission and better stability. Discrete monitoring system means that the way of data transmission of the sensor between patients with host can use either wired connection as bedside care or wireless for mobile monitoring.The design took S3C2440as the master core, Atmega16A as data acquisition and control chip to complete the overall design of the system respectively from the software and hardware aspects. The hardware circuit part included signal acquisition, A/D conversion and USART serial transmission. The software part included system migration, data processing, parameter value calculation, the waveform display and QT interface production.The system monitored the human body, and realized ECG, pulse waveform real-time display, data storage and waveform playback. Wireless transmission was used between upper computer and lower computer that provided more space for patients. It reflects characteristics of human nature.
