Aim:Analyze the the change of the serum lipids and the adjustmenton statins after taking statins for the patients from Department ofCardiology of our hospital. Methods: collect159patients from Department of Cardiology of ourhospital from November15,2012to January15,2013, Who didn’t getpercutaneous coronary intervention or take statins before. Using2011ESC/ESA Guidelines for the Management of Dyslipidaemias and theSCOER assess the overall cardiovascular risks, take a second lipid test afterone month, Follow up their condition of taking statins after two month。Results:1. In≥60age group, the prevalence of diabetes, coronaryartery heart disease was significantly higher than in <60ages;in <60agesgroup the prevalence of dyslipidemia is90.5%, significantly higher thanthat in≥60ages group.2.In≥60age group, the rates of extremely high CVD risk wassignificantly higher than in <60age group, The rates of medium-low CVDrisk is significantly lower than in <60age group. 3.Taking statins for one month, the serum levels of TC,LDL decreasedsignificantly, HDL significantly increased in people who are older than60years(≥60),TC decreased significantly in people who are yanger than60years(<60). The attainment rates of all people is30.2%for LDL, theattainment rates of extremely high CVD risk, high CVD risk,medium-low CVD risk is19.0%,23.3%,61.1%,the CVD risk is higher, theattainment rates of LDL is lower.4.The adjustment on taking statins:41.6%stopped taking statins in the159patients after two month; the patients who maintains treatment onstatins in≥60ages group is significantly more than in <60ages (53.3%vs32.1%, P <0.01); dosage reduction on statins is significantly less thanin <60ages group (2.7%vs16.7%, P <0.01).Maintain treatment in themedium-low CVD risk patients are less than in the extremely high CVDrisk, high CVD risk(16.7%vs48.3%,P<0.01;16.7%vs50.8%,P<0.01).5. The main reason for stopping taking statins by oneself is lack of theknowledge about their disease and statins.Conclusion:1.In the medium-low CVD the condition of statins’ usageis worse than that in the extremely high CVD riskand high CVD risk,In the<60ages group the condition of statins’ usage is worse than that in in≥60ages group.2.The main reason of stopping taking statins is that the patientslack of knowledge and usage on statin in clinical work,we should pay attention to it.3.LDL targets attainment is30.2%, the higher the CVD risk, the lower the LDLtargets attainment.
