Objective:TO study treatment effect and possible action mechanism of Zhengshi Waifujiegu Powde on the healing of fracture.Methods:30New Zealand Rabbits were randomly divided into two groups two weeks later after the success of the model operation:Blank comparison group(A), Zhengshiyihaojiegusan group(B), then each group was divided into3groups according to the7th、14th、21st after the administration,5rats each group. The rats of A group was administered with the yarn (W4cm, long6cm,0.2cm thick) parceling fractures per day. B group was administered with spreaded "Zhengshi Waifujiegu Powder " party yarn (width4cm, long6cm,0.2cm thick parcelling fractures per day. To collect heart blood of5New Zealand rabbits each group After7th、14th、21st day of the administration (i.e.21th,28th,35th day after fracture), and take air embolism method executed after the radial perturbation, X ray to micro electronic balance weighing radial weight, callus weight. Based on callus growth and trace elements in serum calcium (Ca), phosphorus (P), copper (Cu) content, to explore the effect of Zhengshi Waifujiegu Powder on the callus and Ca, P,Cu in the serum in the process of Rabbit’Fracture Healing. Results:①The growth of rabbit body weight changes:animals fed into the laboratory after the adaptation period, the weight remained fairly stable; modeling, the apparent weight of experimental animals downward trend; week after modeling showed steady increase in body weight after the start of the state.②X-ray observation:Time points after modeling, experimental drug group callus formation were better than the control group, especially in the administration of2weeks (28m day after the fracture) was observed after the most obvious when, X-ray showed a clear calcium-based bone marrow cavity filled with a lot of callus and closed fracture line blurred. Administration of3weeks (ie35tn day after fracture) after the callus into the shaping period, but the control group of callus is still in the mature stage of reconstruction.③the weight of callus weighing results:Each time point, the test drug group average of the results are of callus weighing more than the control group, and the difference in the two weeks after administration of the most significant.④New Zealand white rabbits of experimental fracture trace elements in serum Ca content of the test results showed that:Experimental drug group in the average content of each phase are higher than the control group, and1week after drug administration and after administration of3weeks (ie21th,35th day after fracture), the measured average serum levels of Ca significantly higher than the control group.⑤New Zealand white rabbits of experimental fracture trace elements in serum P content of the test results:experimental drug group in the average content of each phase are higher than the control group, and2weeks after drug administration (ie,28th day after fracture) when measured in serum was significantly higher than the average P content in the control group. Two groups of experimental animals (rabbits) at all time points of serum phosphorus content of trace elements in the test results mean statistical test P <0.05, significant difference was statistically significant.⑥New Zealand white rabbits of experimental fracture trace elements in serum Cu content of the test results showed that:the experimental drug in serum Cu content of trace elements in the average time increases with the dose at first and then decreased trend, that is, after administration of2weeks (28th day after fracture) measured serum levels of Cu than the average one week after administration (ie,21th day after fracture) and3weeks (35th day after the fracture) is higher. However, Zhengshi Waifujiegu Powder group in each phase of the content were higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05).Conclusions:○Zhengshi Waifujiegu Powder could speed up callus formation, maturation, alterations and shaping, shorten the healing time, and apparently promote fracture healing in experimental fracture healing process of the New Zealand Rabbit.●Zhengshi Waifujiegu Powder Can significantly increase Ca, P, Cu content in the serum, adjust the microelemen’ levels in the serum, and accelerated calcium salt’ deposition on the callus.This may be the mechanism of action of promoting fracture healing.
