Objective: Study of primary hepatocellular carcinoma with portal vein tumorthrombus (PVTT) correlation between clinical factors and formation of primary livercancer in different TCM syndromes associated with portal vein tumor thrombus. Methods: A total of76cases of primary liver cancer were included in this study.Thepresence of PVTT was determined by color Doppler ultrasound examination. Complete thesyndrome differentiation of TCM. The relationship between PVTT and clinicopathologicalcharacteristics including the age of patients, PVTT summary of gross type, tumor of livercirrhosis, liver function and the foundation of TCM Types.Results:76cases of primary liver cancer with PVTT20cases, which accounted for57.1%of age in50years old the following. There are the basis of liver cirrhosis or HBsAgpositive cases of PVTT were significantly higher than those without cirrhosis or HBsAgnegative cases (P<0.01), Primary hepatocarcinoma typing of TCM Qi blood stasis type, yin deficiency of liver and kidney cancer embolus in portal vein were higher than theincidence of splenasthenic Hygrosis type (P<O.01), The diffuse type, block type, nodularhepatocellular carcinoma incidence rates of PVTT were30%,28.6%,22.6%, threecompared no significant difference, there was no significant correlation between PVTTincidence and laboratorial parameters with respect to ALT、AFP.Conclusions: PVTT occurred more common in the younger, accompanied with thebasic of liver cirrhosis or HBsAg positive subjects of all PHC.Primary hepatocarcinomatyping of TCM Qi blood stasis type, yin deficiency of liver and kidney cancer embolus inportal vein were higher than the incidence of splenasthenic Hygrosis type.
