Effects Of Yang-Yin-Run-Chang Prescription On Interstitial Cells Of Cajal Of Rats With Slow Transit Constipation

Objective:To observe the effect of Yang-Yin-Run-Chang Decoction on interstitial cells of Cajal of rats with slow transit constipation.Method:A total of32SD rats were used in the study, of which6were included in normal control group,and24were used to induce STC by intragastric administration of gradually increasing doses of rhubarb suspension. STC was successfully induced, The rats were randomized into model controls,Mosapride group,Yang-Yin-Run-Chang Decoction group and recovery group. Model controls and normal control group were killed at the same time before medication administration.Then, the carbon powder propulsion rates in the intestine were measured and expression of c-kit mRNA in ICC in the two groups were measured by Realtime PCR. Then each medication administration team rats were given the corresponding drugs while recovery group was gavaged with the same volume saline for one month. Then, the carbon powder propulsion rates in the intestine and the expression of c-kit mRNA in ICC were measured of these groups.Result:Carbon powder propulsion length in the model group was shorter than that of the normal group(P<0.01), Compared to the model control group, the carbon powder propulsion rates in Mosapride group and Yang-Yin-Run-Chang Decoction group were faster significantly (P<0.01),but showed no significant difference between the model group and recovery group. The expression of c-kit mRNA in ICC in the model group was lower than that of the normal group(P<0.01),There is no significant difference between the model group and recovery group (P>0.05),The Mosapride group is lower than Yang-Yin-Run-Chang Decoction (P<0.05).Conclusion:Yang-Yin-Run-Chang Decoction can promote gastrointestinal motility, repair and regenerate the Cajal cells in rats to move the bowels.
