Objective: leukoplakia of the larynx is refers to the laryngeal epithelialhyperplasia and hyperkeratosis lesions. The main symptoms were hoarseness, somepatients may evolve into laryngeal carcinoma, pathologically manifested epithelialatypical hyperplasia, has certain malignant tendency, so it is often regarded asprecancerous lesions. This study used plasma radiofrequency treatment of vocal cordleukoplakia, this paper compares the traditional endoscopic radiofrequency in treatmentof vocal cord leukoplakia and endoscopic stripping operation characteristics and effectsof surgical treatment of vocal cord leukoplakia off both. The superiority of thetreatment of low-temperature plasma radiofrequency. Methods: a retrospective analysis of the clinical data of60patients with vocalcord leukoplakia in2007June to2011June treatment,34cases by low-temperatureplasma radiofrequency treatment,26cases by stripping, surround operation period thesame treatment method. Comparison of two surgical operation time, intraoperativebleeding volume, postoperative pain score, pseudomembranous off time, postoperativevoice evaluation, recurrence rate. In about a week, during the follow-up of12-36months.Results: Two kinds of operation method are one-time excision of vocal cord tumor,no postoperative dysphagia, postoperative recurrence rate: regular follow-up (plasmagroup3%, normal group19.2%), bleeding (plasma was4±2ml,12±5ml normalgroup), postoperative pain score: ask pain patients (Group (plasma34.5±7.6),(81.5±9.6) common group divided), membrane shedding time: daily review electroniclaryngoscope during hospitalization, patients with vocal cord mucosa beginsepithelization (plasma group (8±1) d,(5±1) common group D) was statisticallysignificant (P<0.05); operation time (plasma group (15±3) min,(18±7) commongroup min), postoperative voice evaluation (jitter, shimmer, MPT, DSI) had no statistical significance (P>0.05). Two kinds of operation were no secondary bleeding. Conclusions: the two methods are effective methods in treatment of vocal cordleukoplakia, but support the application of endoscopic radiofrequency laryngoscopyresection in the treatment of vocal cord leukoplakia with less bleeding, less injury, postoperative pain, low recurrence rate, the curative effect is better than the ordinarystripping type, is a better operation method.
