| Objective:Pilon fracture refers to tibia hypomere fracture related totibia distal joint.Theinjury mechanism of the fracture is complicated and it has many complications.Thestudy is to investigate operation techniques and clinical effect of reduction and internalfixation for the treatment of Pilon fracture in sequence. Methods: From April2005to Septemble2010,our department had treated totally36cases Pilon fractures of type II and type III(üeditypeⅡ,15cases; üedi typeⅢ,21cases),including20males and16females.Those cases were treated in differentreduction and fixation sequence which were postoperative followed-up, and thereduction were evaluated by Burwell-Chamley radiologic evaluation crteria andrecovery of function were evaluated by Helfet function evaluation crteria. Results: Tibial articular surface was anatomical reduction in33cases,the gernalreduction of tibial articular surface in3cases according to Burwell-Chamleyradiologic evaluation crteria. All cases were followed up for10to18months,with amean period of12.6months.All fractures were bone-healed.The functional recover ofthe postoperative ankle was evaluated by Helfet function evaluation crteria, excellent in28cases, good in6cases, poor in2cases, the excellent and good rate was94.4%.Conclusion: The effect of reduction and fixation of Pilon fracture in sequence isgood.CT3D reconstruction of preoperative fracture site has important significance toguide the operation. Intraoperative reduction and fixation of Pilon fracture should be indifferent sequence according to the specific situations. |
