In recent years, the integration of adenocarcinoma of theesophagogastric juntion (AEG) research has become a hot topic of scholars. Manycountries and regions in the world are distal gastric carcinoma incidence of a disease isreduced, and the proximal gastric carcinoma, especially in AEG, become one of thefastest growing incidence of tumor, the annual growth rate of5%,10%, and theproximal gastric carcinoma worse than distal gastric carcinoma prognosis. Because theAEG in pathogenesis and biology are different from esophageal and gastric carcinoma, and the lack of independent TNM staging system, made in the clinical treatment isdifferent from the esophageal and gastric carcinoma. Therefore, in the treatment of AEG,should first clear tumor different stages and classification and the ease of operation. At present, the domestic and foreign scholars of AEG Siewert classificationresearch, carried out more on this classification, on the basis of the research on fastintegration of adenocarcinoma of the esophagogastric juntion of epidemiology, etiology, treatment and so on characteristics, but for different types of Siewert selectsthe route of the operation, the method and perioperative treatment also have biggerdifference, reasonable surgical approaches, the selection of surgical procedure, thescope of surgical resection and lymph node cleaning scope has far-reaching meaning forthe patient, such as attaches great importance to by the people, therefore, many scholarshave become research hotspot. At present, different surgical methods on Siewert partingâ…¢ period clinical trials as well as the role of perioperative radiation and chemotherapy, chemotherapy also further confirmed in clinical trials.
