Lifetime prevalence,12-month prevalence and30-dayprevalence were used to describe different kinds of neuroses in patients with hypertension. The comparison of distribution characteristics of12-month prevalenceof neuroses in patients with hypertension used χ2test. Logistic regression was used toanalysis social demographic factors and psychosocial factors.ResultsThe lifetime prevalence of neurosis in patients with hypertension was14.6%.The12-month prevalence was10.8%.And the30-day prevalence was7.9%. Theprevalence of Specific phobia was the highest. The12-month prevalence of neurosisin patients with hypertension of male was7.14%. The12-month prevalence of femalewas12.79%. And the female was higher(χ2=7.517,P=0.006). The12-monthprevalence of neurosis in patients with hypertension was different in different agegroups(χ2=28.107,P<0.001). The12-month prevalence of city was8.00%,and thecountry was13.63%.The12-month prevalence of the country is higher than that of thecity(χ2=8.202, P=0.004). The12-month prevalence of income below3000was12.07%. The12-month prevalence of income above3000was6.36%. The former ishigher(χ2=5.787,P=0.016). The12-month prevalence of neurosis in patients withhypertension had no difference in ethnicity, marriage, education level and years ofhypertension(P>0.05). Logistic analysis results showed that four influencing factorswere found, age(60~69years,≥70years), negative life events, positive coping style, and life satisfaction and their OR (OR95%CI) values were0.412(0.216-0.784),0.308(0.139-0.683),1.010(1.003-1.017),0.670(0.454-0.989) and0.934(0.896-0.974), respectively.Conclusion1. The12-month prevalence of neurosis in patients with hypertension of femalewas higher than male. That of60-69and≥70years old was lower than<50years old.The12-month prevalence of country was higher than the city. The income below3000was higher than the income above3000.3. Logistic analysis results showed that negative life events may be a risk factor.Older, positive coping style and life satisfaction may be protective factors.4. The prevalence of neuroses in patients with hypertension is higher. Thisshould cause the attention of medical workers and the relevant departments. In the process of prevention and treatment, we should attach great importance to the mentalhealth of the patients with hypertension, and actively carry out targeted preventionand control measures.
