BackgroundAcne is an important member of psychosomatic diseases. It has a high incidence in adolescents. The main clinical manifestations are the acne, pimples, pustules, nodules, cysts, scars and other damages in the face, neck, chest and back skin.Especially facial damages often cause serious psychological impact on adolescent men and women. Traditional Chinese Medicine unique theory and modern medicine theory have their own unique understandings of emotional and mental diseases. This paper, by positioning the emotional concept of Traditional Chinese Medicin and modern medical measurement method of psychological characteristics, combined with Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine point of view, reflects the emotional state of the armored officers and soldiers of acne along the southeast coast.ObjectiveThrough questionnaires, understand Pillsbury grade, Traditional Chinese Medicin typing, impassioned tendencies and psychological characteristics of the relevant circumstances of the armored officers and soldiers of acne stationed in the southeast coast. Statistical analysis of the above, preliminary master the emotional tendencies and psychological characteristics of the armored officers and soldiers stationed in the southeast coast.Discus the relevant between acne syndromes, Pillsbury four categories and psychological factors. Improve the relevance and effectiveness of the armored officers and soldiers psychosomatic acne treatment and mental health counseling.MethodsUsing SCL-90scale and impassioned background Scale, assessment of634armored officers and soldiers’mental health and related information in the southeast coast, and type the acne patients with TCM typing and Pillsbury classification. Using SPSS13.0to analyze, such as x2test, Fisher exact test, t test and analysis of variance, rank sum test, all P values are two-sided test results, test level a0.05.Result1. The factor SCL-90634soldiers and military norm comparison, no significant difference only hostility factor score, total score and the scores were significantly lower than the norm; compared with the norm, there was no significant difference in the scores of somatization factor, total score and the scores were significantly lower than the norm. 2. Obsessive and paranoid ideation in acne patients scored significantly higher than the non acne, with statistical difference, showed no significant difference in total score and the factor score.3. Melancholy and sadness scores severity classification distribution have significant statistical difference between the patients with acne and people not suffering from acne.There was no significant difference in the score distribution of the other seven severity classification.4. SCL-90were no significant differences in scores between the Pillsbury index and traditional Chinese medicine type of patients with acne.5. No statistically significant difference between the distribution of the Pillsbury severity classification indexing and traditional Chinese medicine typing seven score of patients with acne.6. TCM type of acne has no correlation with Pillsbury four categories.Conclusion1. The mainly symptom factors influence psychological health status of armored officers and soldiers of acne is:compulsion, paranoid ideation.2. Sorrow, grief the two emotions are important factors of armored regiment of acne. Must pay attention to the psychological health condition of armored troops, especially men suffering from acne, in addition to drug treatment, targeted psychological counseling is necessary. Hope the officers and soldiers having a strong physique and good psychological endurance, improving the combat effectiveness of the armed forces.3. TCM syndrome type acne typing and Pillsbury four index have no obvious correlation.
