| Purpose: To Evaluate the clinical curative effect of rizatriptan in thetreatment of migraine with patent foramen ovale.Materials and methods： The materials that113patients who hadmigraine, contrast transcranial doppler (TCDc) positive, were collectedfrom the neurology department of Bethune First Hospital of JilinUniversity between2013May and2013December. They were randomlyassigned to ritzariptan(treatment group, n=55,15male,40females,average age=36.5±11.14)group and usual medicines(control group,n=58,16males,42females, average age=36.2±11.11)group. The patientswere given rizatriptan5mg(treatment group) or usual medicine1table（control group) at the beginning of the migraine attack respectively.Theeffective rate of pain relief and pain free before administration and at0.5h,1h,2h,and4h after administration and the simultaneous phenomenonwas observed.Results: Compared with usual medicine that treating acute migraine,rizatriptan had better effect. The pain relief rates of treatment group at0.5h,1h,2h,4h after administration were30.91%,58.18%,81.81%,94.54%,and were significantly higher than those of control group(P<0.05). Thepain free rates of the treatment group at0.5h,1h,2h,4h after administration were9.09%,25.45%,53.18%,74.54%, and were significantly higher thanthose of the control group(P<0.05). At4h after administration，vomittingof the two groups was free, nausea, phengophobia and phonophobia alsoobviously relieved, the nausea of treatment group were significantlylower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion: The prevalence of PFO in patients with headache is higherthan those without headache, the prevalence of migraine in patients withPFO is higher than those without PFO; the sensitivity and specificity ofc-TCD diagnosing PFO is high; now there is no good evidence thatclosure of PFO can relief migraine, whether closure remains controversial;rizatriptan has significant effect in the treatment of migraine with PFO. |
