Objective To investigate protein expression of CDla, CDlc molecule in lung cancer (squamous carcinoma and adenocarcinoma); and the differential diagnostic value of CD1c, interferon-y inducible protein10(IP-10), macrophage inflammatory protein-la (MlP-1α) and monocyte chemoattractant-1(MCP-1) level in malignant and benign pleural effusion. Methods The surgical resection of30cases of lung cancer (squamous carcinoma and adenocarcinoma) tissues of the positive protein expression of CD1a, CD1c molecule lung cancer tissues and far carcinoma was detected by Western Blot. Flow cytometry was used to detect the positive expression of CDlc in pleural effusion and peripheral blood. ESISA were used to detect the concentration of IP-10, MIP-1α and MCP-1in tuberculous and malignant pleural fluid. Analysis of the concentration difference between the two groups of pleural effusion IP-10, MIP-1α, MCP-1and its significance.Results①The positive protein expression of CDla, CDlc molecule in lung cancer tissues (squamous carcinoma and adenocarcinoma) were significantly higher in normal lung tissues;②There are no statistic difference in cases groups and control group for the positive express of CD1c molecule in peripheral blood (t=1.38; p>0.05); Expression of CDlc molecule in malignant and benign pleural effusions was significantly higher than in peripheral blood (t=1.28-6.80; p<0.05). The positive expression of CDlc in malignant pleural effusion was significantly higher than in tuberculous pleural effusion (t=2.90; p<0.05). The80%positive expression of CD1c in pleural effusion was as baseline, the sensibility was89%and specificity was87%for malignant respectively; the Youden’s Index was76%;③The concentration of IP-10, MIP-1α and MCP-1in tuberculous pleural fluid were significantly higher than in malignant pleural fluid, and their difference was significant. ROC curve analysis, the critical value of IP-10, MIP-1α and MCP-1in diagnosis of pleural effusion are respectively1589.73pg/mL,213.50pg/mL,1452.63pg/mL, the sensitivity and specificity for IP-10, MIP-1α and MCP-1in pleural fluid were68.8%,81.3%,87.5%and87.5%,68.8%,56.3%, respectively. Conclusion Protein expression of CDla and CDlc molecule correlate with lung cancer (squamous carcinoma and adenocarcinoma). The CD1c, IP-10, MIP-1α and MCP-1concentration in malignant and benign pleural effusions are significant for the early diagnosis and differential diagnosis.
