objective: the correlation between the capacity of nutrient in pregnancy and the incidence of macrosomiamaterials and methods: we conduct a questionnaire survey during400pregnant women who are having prenatal check and going to give birth in the People’s Hospital of Linzi District in order to acquire detailed information of pregnant women’s related knowledge, attitude and practice (KAP) for nutrient and its following influence, to further research the correlation between the capacity of nutrient in pregnancy and the incidence of macrosomia, and provide scientific basis for pregnant women’s health and healthy newborns. According to BMI index we classify them into3groups:the underweight group, the normal weight group and the overweight and obesity group. We evaluate the capacity of nutrient intake by data of gaining weight during pregnancy, analyze fat, carbohydrate and protein intake through a dietary analysis software and logistic regression analysis for multi factors. Results: No significant difference is found between the incidence of macrosomia and pre BMI(P>0.05). while gaining weight during pregnancy and the incidence of macrosomia are positively correlated (P<0.05). The relationship between the intake of carbohydrate, protein and fat and the incidence of macrosomia: the more fat, the more possibility of a macrosomia (P<0.01), the data for carbohydrate is P<0.05, while there is no significant correlation between the protein intake and the incidence of macrosomia (P>0.05).We have issued400questionnaires and386are collected, with an efficiency of96.4%. Average score of Nutrition knowledge is11.06±2.53,scoring rate79%.97.8%of the pregnant women think highly of a healthy diet for themselves and their fetus,90.6%of surveyed women are willing to learn nutrition knowledge but with poor nutrition information and lack of a reasonable and balanced diet.Only59.9%are attitude positive. There is no significant difference in the survey of KAP on ages.Conclusion1The intake of fat and carbohydrate during pregnancy is positively correlated to the incidence of macrosomia. There is no significant correlation between macrosomia birth rate and protein intake.2The KAP of pregnant women is deficient. it is necessary to impart nutrition education to pregnant women.3Pregnant women should have a reasonable diet, control total calorie intake and the intake of fat to manage body weight. pregnancy weight control to induce the incidence of macrosomia.
