Objective The huge trauma by Cardiac operation and extracorporeal circulation, causing the body to produce a series of inflammation, cause myocardial damage. Thispaper discusses the significance and change of IDO in CPB, to explore the IDO can beused as a biological index to predictive inflammatory changes by CPB.Methods1.General information Selected19cases of simple congenital heart patientshospitalized in July2013to January2014in the First Affiliated Hospital of AnhuiMedical University, Cardiac Surgery II Ward for surgery and complete information asthe experimental group; including: atrial septal defect, simple ventricular septal defect, atrial septal defect. Collect the patients’blood before operation (T0), intraoperative(T1),postoperative (T2),12hours after operation (T3),24hours after the operation (T4),48hours after operation (T5), separating and storing spare.2. Detection methods: Used the method of enzyme linked immunosorbent assay toquantitative analysis the concentration of IDO, its metabolite (kynurenine), TNF-α andIL-6.3.Statistical analysis: SPSS13.0statistical package for data analysis, statisticalmeasurement data value is expressed as: mean±standard deviation(x±s), comparingthe significant difference of both groups used t test.Result. No statistically significant differences between the three groups in the totalconcentration of this three factor of IDO, TNF-α and IL-6(P>0.05), each groupconcentration of IDO was slightly higher than TNF-α and IL-6, there was significantdifference (P<0.05), while TNF-α, IL-6,the two factor concentration in each group hadno statistically significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusion: Indoleamine2,3-dioxygenase (IDO) has clear expression in each group, the sensitivity is slightly higher than the classical factor as TNF-α and IL-6, can beused as a biological indicators to predictive inflammatory changes by CPB.
