Effects And Countermeasures Of Government Health Input In Guangxi Women And Children’s Health

The health of women and children is the basis for sustainable humandevelopment. Women and child health services as a key part of health services,occupies a pivotal position in the construction of the entire health care system,plays a crucial role in comprehensively promoting the level of medical security.Our country attaches great importance to the work of women and child healthsince the founding of new China, especially since the year of2009, with thedevelopment of women and child health work became an important content ofpromoting the progressive realization of basic public health servicesequalization, national investment efforts on women and child health services isalso increasing year by year. At the same time, government put more and moreemphasis on the efficient using of funds for health, which plays a important rolein improving the health of women and children. Guangxi is located in the westof south China, south of the northern Gulf, bordering Vietnam, because of itsunique geographical environment, there are problems such as little awareness ofthe health of women and children, lacking of health human resources, obsoletemedical equipment and other issues, the government health input will makewhat impact on the health of women and children in Guangxi and how to ensure the effective improvement of government health input based on improving thehealth of women and children is a urgent problem.The study from the point of view of effective using the government healthinput to improving the health of women and children, using a combination oftheoretical and empirical research methods, through the relevant data ofGuangxi government health input2009-2011to analyze the influence ofinvestment in the health of women and children and made suggestions on how toimprove the efficiency of government health input, to provide reference for theformulation of policies and measures about promoting the development of thehealth of women and children in Guangxi.The main conclusion from the study is there are still many problems in thegovernment health input of Guangxi region in promoting the health of womenand children, such as lacking of total health input, unreasonable capital structure,funds operating efficiency is not high, the business income is still the mainsource of income for women and child health institutions, lacking of effectivesupervision on issued and operating funds, staff on women and child healthinformation reporting is uneven and other outstanding issues, therefore thereshould from such several aspects as the organization and leadership, investmentsize, structure, financial management, sources of financing health costs,management of information technology to be improved.
