The Application Of CAD/CAM Custom Abutment On The Implant Clinics

Objectives:To observe the effect of the marginal adaptation of CAD/CAM Custom abutment-crown and Finished abutment-crown and the effects of Soft tissue after dental restoration, and provide a reference for the Implant clinical application of CAD/CAM Custom abutmen.Methods:Select50Male patients (40-60years) who accept the operation of single implant bone level at posterior region,the total implants number is50(Nobel Biocare Replace Groovy RP(p4.3mm). When the implant Osseointegration is complete after6months, Randomly divided into two groups--experimental group have25and Control group also. The experimental group use the CAD/CAM Custom Titanium abutmen.and the control group use the Finished Titanium abutment..All of the crowns are CAD/CAM All-Ceramic crowns,and the Implantshoulder(IS) is flush with the gums.1.Copy the abutment-crown’s edge of the space through the bicolor-methyl silicone rubber. Detect the Abutment marginal fit through the scanner to scan level space impression and measure the thickness.2.Record the position of gums’gtngival margin (GM) on0month,6month after wearing crown, and record the position of papillae on6month.Results:1、 the result of theCAD/CAM custom Abutment and finish abutment’s marginal fit through the scanner to scan level space impression is the same.All the data is processed using SPSS13.0for statistical analysis. T test, P>0.05, The difference is not statistically significant.So it can be considered there is no difference in the two groups2.Thc Gingival shape is better and the position of papillae is stable after using CAD/CAM custom abutment than using finish abutment at Implant area.using X2test, P<0.05, The difference is statistically significant. Conclusions:Compared to finish abutment,CAD/CAM custom abutment can be designed the height and shape,according to the thickness of the patient’s gum,and can provide the most suitable to wear gingival height so as to achieve high aesthetics, high biocompatibility, good soft tissue remodeling and restoration effects for patients.So the CAD/CAM custom abutment not only hace better aesthetic results after repair but also the marginal fit of CAD/CAM custom Abutment is not less than the finish abutment. It have a high clinical value.
